Please ensure your entry summary contains no confidential or sensitive information.

JUDGING METHODOLOGY

  • Tech Impact Awards judges are selected based on their market knowledge, industry standing and impartiality. Each category will have its own set of judges.
  • Judges independently and anonymously score each entry out of 10, based on information submitted within the entry and the supporting materials.
  • Scores are tallied and the entrant with the best average score wins. In the event of a tie, judges will be asked to choose between the tied entrants to decide on a winner.
  • Any entrant trying to provide additional information or influence the judges will be removed from the awards process.

TOP TIPS FOR ENTERING

  • Check your entry meets the criteria. You’d be surprised how many entries get rejected due to a simple mistake such as being in the wrong category. The judges will check your entry against the criteria. You should too.
  • Support your entry with customer use-cases. Showing real-life deployments, success stories and benefits for your customers will add another layer of credibility to your application.
  •  Stick to the word limit. Make the most of the 500-word limit and focus on what really matters. We recommend using stats, figures and measurable results that emphasise your achievements as part of the entry. Using real-life examples of how the technology has been applied (e.g. by a customer) and the results this delivered are highly encouraged as well.
  •  Get to the point. Start your entry/responses with the key information about the entry, what you really want the judges to know about. Then explain the What, Where, When and How of the entry. Write your entry in a clear, to the point and concise manner that keeps the judges’ attention.
  • Do enter more than one category. There is no limit to the number of categories you can enter.
  • Hit the deadline. Late entries don’t count.
